Logos One By One

Teaching the Bible to children in Uganda, One by One

About Us

Mission

We are a ministry devoted to teaching the Bible to the children in Uganda.  We also are prayerfully dedicated to grow with God’s provision to be able to meet the spiritual, physical and educational needs of the children we serve. Our present goals of targeted ministry include the locations of Mbarara, Uganda, East Africa and six villages

Why are we called “Logos One by One”?

“Logos” is a Greek word Biblically translated and referenced to mean the “Holy Word/God/Jesus Christ”.  Our reference scripture is John 1:1, where it reads, “In the beginning was Logos (the Word), and Logos (the Word) was with God, and Logos (the Word) was God.”   To teach the Word with the good news of Jesus Christ is our primary mission and we do it literally by gathering a child, one at a time. Thus,  “Logos One by One” was chosen for the official name of our public charity.

Our Future Goals

Our first goal is to expand our teaching team to 4 teachers.  We see the need for different classes within the same areas, so we can meet the needs of the younger children as well as the older children. Our secondary goal is to purchase a used rough terrain vehicle for our Ugandan teaching team to be able to safely get to all 6 villages around the city of Mbarara, Uganda as well as to the location of the Batwa tribe, without hiring public transports.
